General Services

At ALC, we start where most companies stop. It’s our belief that core health care services must be comprehensive enough to allow for any potential challenge a person may have to the best of our abilities. That’s why we evaluate the core needs at a very high level, and then dig into each area to provide the broadest level of positive experience and service we can.

• Medication Management (new or titrated medications)
• Disease Management (new or exacerbations of existing diagnosis)
• Therapy – any medication that can be administered at home,
we can do through Home Health.
Administration of Medications (Including but not limited to):
• Insulin
• Forteo
• Psychiatric Meds
• Lovenox
• Antibiotics (both infused and injected)
• Chemotherapy
Wound Care:
• Also certified in KCI and Medela Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Devices

Our Doctor’s level Physical Therapist(DPT) (also certified in Lymphedema Therapy).
• Home Safety Evaluation to minimize fall risk.
• Exercise Program and general Physical Therapy for Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Osteoporosis, muscle weakness, balance disorder, gait disorder, traumatic injury (i.e. Fractures, etc.) post-operative (any surgery requiring rehabilitation), preoperative therapy to include post-operative care.

Occupational Therapy to assist with patient with:
• Visual Impairment
• General Neurological Disorders
• Parkinson’s Disease
• Alzheimer’s Disease
• CVA
• TIA
• Shoulder, Arm or Hand Problems

Speech Therapist to provide therapy to patients with the following conditions (among others):
• CVA
• TIA
• Dysphasia/Aphasia
• Hearing Impairments caused by Alzheimer’s and other related disorders

CNA or HHA to assist patient with (to mention a few):
• Reminder services (medications, dates, routines, etc.)
• Assisting with mobility
• Hygiene Assistance
• Meal preparation/Diet monitoring
• Light housekeeping
• Errands and Shopping
• Joyful companionship
• Organizing and reading mail
• Making and escorting to appointments (doctor appointments and social engagements)
• Assisting with pet care
• Entertaining (games, crafts, reading, etc.)
• Home safety
